The new year is all about having a positive perspective and mindset, and there’s no better way of displaying that than having an AMAZING outfit to grace your Instagram feed! Step 1. of finding the perfect outfit is knowing the look you want to go for. After doing some research, I have gathered the perfect list of possible looks that are fail proof and have a picture-worthy guarantee.

1.The Simple Satin:

This is just a classic go-to when all else fails. With so many color options, this really gives you the opportunity to dress it up or down. Pair it with some heels and complimentary jewelry, and you’re ready to have a good time with family. Trade your heels for some trendy sneakers and add a high ponytail, and you’re ready to hang out with some friends.

2. The Classic Shimmer:

This one goes without saying but New Years calls for some glitter. This is the one day out of the whole year where your dress can be sequined and beaded to your hearts content…just don’t bring out the bedazzler.

3. The Pantsuit:

It’s almost 2018! Girls wearing pantsuits dominated the fashion magazines all of 2017 and aren’t going away any time soon. A classic tailored suit could look great on any one, even for a party. Need to make it more festive and less work attire? Let the low cut of the blazer speak for itself and pair it with a low cut blouse and long necklace to flatter the neckline. Or, throw it back to the satin trend and pair your pantsuit with a color matching satin blouse underneath, with some fun colorful or sparkly pumps to match.

4. The Shorts and Strappy Sandals:

I’m all for changing up the fashion scene and standing out in a crowd, and what better way to do that than wearing pants or shorts when everyone other girl will most likely be wearing a dress? Some tailored shorts, lace, printed, or even sequin blouse, paired with some killer heels will be sure to turn heads.

5. The Jumpsuit:

Continuing on from #3 and #4, wearing something other than a dress or skirt for a New Year’s Eve party screams 2018 more than anything else. Like the pantsuit, a monochromatic jumpsuit is flattering to almost all body types and makes any girl look unstoppable. The outfit is practically done for you. All you need now is some sparkly accessories to make this look even more fun. Any hairstyle would look great with this as well, such as: high ponytail, sleek bun, or loose curls. Not to mention this could be worn both in the spring in summer to family gatherings, graduations, and spring weddings.

When I spotted these, I knew I would definitely put them in the running for my New Year’s outfit. It’s just something different that the classics and once again, the outfit is pretty much done for you.
